This Campfire quilt is a minimal modern geometric pattern of blue batiks and unbleached natural osnaburg fabric. The front of the quilt was hand cut from various quilt shop quality blue batiks fabrics. The back is a blue and off-white geometric print. The quilt is machine bound with navy Kona Cotton; it is hand quilted (big stitch) with navy and dark blue thread in a linear design to accent the geometric design. The minimal look and modern design of this quilt make it perfect for any contemporary nursery.
The quilt measures approximately 40" x 40", and is the perfect size for playing with your little one on the floor or for a crib or toddler bed. The quilt was machine sewn, hand bound, and hand quilted with big stitches. The 80% cotton, 20% polyester batting was specifically chosen because it allows the quilt to keep its original modern look without the pucker associated with 100% cotton batting. Machine wash on gentle cold; dry on delicates cycle. It will get softer and softer with each wash. Your quilt will arrive pre-washed with Dreft.
