women's upcycled quilted denim: waves

This is an upcycled American Eagle denim jacket, size L. The jacket has two breast pockets and standard side load pockets; it is 93% cotton and 7% recycled cotton. It is a button closure and has some slight distressing and pleating in the front.  The back features a fabric waves design in a turquoise ombre batik fabric.  The waves are machine free motion quilted in a variety of designs.  A puff polyester batting creates some volume, particularly in unquilted areas.  A popped collar reveals the phrase 'somewhere beyond the sea' in a modern hand painted font.
